Rigorous bounds for entropic uncertainty relations using the Landau-Pollak inequality

We have analyzed entropic uncertainty relations (EUR) based on Shannon entropy for the distribution associated to a pair of quantum observables with discrete spectrum. As a particular case we consider EURs constrained by the Landau-Pollak inequality, proving analitically the bound in terms of the overlap between the eigenbases.
