Resumen:
We report on magnetic and hyperfine behavior at low temperatures (4-5 K) of O-DMS powders (Sn0.9Fe0.1O2) prepared by ball milling method. We analyze here samples (2, 5 and 10 h of milling time) that behave distinctly from those milled short times, revealing properties of superparamagnetic (SPM) systems. In particular, the 2h milled sample magnetic behavior is in the frontier of different magnetic properties between short and long milling times (2h and more). It is necessary approximately 2 hours of mechanical work upon this system to show SPM behavior. These features become evident from the curves of ZFC-FC and are reinforced by Mössbauer measurements at 4.2 K. Combining these results with the measurements of magnetization vs applied magnetic field at low temperatures, it becomes evident that below of blocking temperature the SPM particles are frozen with mainly antiferromagnetic order.
