Resumen:
The spatial clustering of galaxies in galaxy clusters implies that thebackground of infrared/optical (IRO) light in the intracluster medium (ICM)may exceed the universal background. Cosmic rays injected within the ICMpropagate diffusively and at low enough energies are trapped there forcosmological times. The photopion production interactions ofcosmic rays with the IRO are responsible for the generation of neutrinoswhose detection may shed light of the origin and propagation of highenergy cosmic rays in the universe.
