Resumen:
The frustrated Heisenberg modelson the honeycomb lattice play animportant role due to theexperimental realization ofmaterials showing this structure andmagnetic disorder.Possible magnetically disorderedground states in the spin 1⁄2 J 1 - J 2Heisenberg antiferromagneticmodel on the honeycomb latticehas been explored recently byvarious approaches. However,these studies have proposedconflicting physical scenarios,regarding the existence andnature of disordered phases atintermediate frustration. In this workwe compare two VBC phases thathave been proposed as groundstates of the system forintermediate frustration.
