Limits to the diffuse flux of UHE tau neutrinos at EeV energies from the Pierre Auger Observatory

The Pierre Auger Observatory has the capability of detectingultra-high energy neutrinos by searching for very inclined showerswith a significant electromagnetic component. In this work we discussthe discrimination power of the instrument for ultra-high energyneutrinos. Based on the data collected since January 2004 an upperlimit to the diffuse flux of neutrinos at EeV energies is presentedand systematic uncertainties are discussed.
