This article examines the technical and legal aspects of aircraft accidents and incidents. About legal aspects, it is highlighted the importance of non disclosure information, as it is enshrine in Section 3.1 of Chapter 3 of Annex 13 of the 1944 Chicago Convention[i] (1), through which is established that ?The sole objective of the investigation of an accident or incident shall be the prevention of accidents and incidents. It is not the purpose of this activity to apportion blame or liability?.
