Resumen:
The invasive Asiatic clam, Corbicula fluminea (Müller, 1778) was recorded in new western localities of Patagonia. Based on the sizes of the sampled specimens, we estimated that the first settlement of C. fluminea in the headeaters of the Río Negro was at least 1998.
