Resumen:
Our knowledge of planetary structure and composition is strongly linked to our knowledge of a series of fundamental parameters of their host stars. In particular, the mass and radius of a transiting planet depend critically on the mass and radius of the parent star. These physical stellar properties, in turn, depend on the precise measurement of the atmospheric parameters of the star, which can be derived from high-quality spectra. Based on Gemini-GRACES high resolution and high signal-to-noise ratio spectra, we report improved stellar and planetary parameters of two evolved Kepler multi-planet systems. We also present the first stellar activity and detailed chemical composition analysis of these host stars.
