Menegazzia (Pasrmeliaceae: Ascomycota) and an associated lichenicolous fungus, Abrothallus parmeliarum, from Patagonia, Argentina

Resumen:
Menegazzia caliginosa P. James and D. J. Galloway, M. kantvilasii P.  James and M. subbullata  P. James and Kantvilas are reported for the first time outside from Australasia and M. dispora  (Nyl.) R. Sant. for the first time for Argentina. This is also the first report of fertile specimens of M. kantvilasii and the morphological and anatomical features of the apothecia. A comparative analysis of the characteristics of the Menegazzia spp. reported for Argentina is presented. The lichenicolous fungi Abrothallus parmeliarum (Sommerf.) Nyl. , is reported for the first time on specimens of Menegazzia and as new for the flora of Argentina.
