Resumen:
After water stress treatment weeping lovegrass foliar tissues showed a loss of internal structural organization in the Morpa cultivar, which is less resistant to drought, whereas the more resistant Don Eduardo cultivar apeared almost completely normal after the same treatment. With relative water contents close to 70%, the plant Morpa cultivar showed alternations in the ultrastructure of their cloroplasts and disorganization of grana and thylakoids. Loss of mitochondrial crests, rupture of membranes, and abnormaldistribution of the ribosomal organization.
