Resumen:
Pachycheles chubutensis larvae hatch as prezoea. After 10-15 min, they moult to zoea I, with a total lengthof 9.50?11.90 mm. They have globose carapaces (1.6?1.8 mm length) with a rostral (length: 7.05 mm ± 0.42 mm) andtwo posterior spines (3.10 mm length ± 0.62 mm) emerging from the anterior region. The ventral margins of both rostraland caudal spines are armed with spinules. Eyes are without peduncles. The mandibles are asymmetrical with rigid spinuleson the incisive and molar borders. The third maxilliped is absent. The telson presents a convex posterior marginwith seven pairs of posterior processes.
