Resumen:
ANDROSTENEDIONE IN SUPERIOR MESENTERIC GANGLION STIMULATE THE RELEASE OF PROGESTERONE, NITRIC OXIDE AND THE NERF-2/NFkβ EXPRESSION IN RESPONSE TO OXIDATIVE STRESS AND INFLAMATION IN OVARY ON DIOESTRUS II.Orozco Reina A, Vega Orozco A, Vazquez Gomez M, Morales L, Casais MLab. E-mail: asvega2@gmail.comThe superior mesenteric ganglion (SMG) has numerous hormone receptors such as androstenedione (A2), which is a key hormone in the reproductive processes. At present there is little knowledge about the role of A2 by neural stimulus in the maintenance of corpus luteum on dioestrus II day. The objectives were to demonstrate if A2 in SMG modifies: 1) the ovarian release of progesterone (P4); 2) the gene expression of 3β-HSD ( P4 synthesis); 3) whether such modifications are related with ovarian NO level changes, the expression of endothelial and inducible nitric oxide synthase (eNOS/iNOS), the Bax/Bcl2 and Fas/Fas-L ratios; NFkβ as inflammation marker and NERF-2 as antioxidant response marker on dioestrus II day.The ex vivo SMG-ovarian nervous plexus(ONP)-Ovary system was incubated with A2 added in ganglion. For this, we used a cuvette with two compartments with Krebs Ringer solution, pH 7.4, in a metabolic bath at 37 °C. P4 (RIA) and nitrite (Griess method) were determined at 15, 30, 60 and 120 min. The gene expression by RT-PCR at 120 min. T Tests of Student, ANOVA-1 and Tukey test (p
