Resumen:
We present a computational implementation of a method for synthesis of compliantmechanisms using rigid-body replacement. This method consists in solving the synthesisproblem for rigid mechanisms, and then applying rules to identify rigid members -links andjoints- as the pseudo-rigid body models of their compliant equivalents. The replacement rulesare very simple, and were implemented on an already available solver for type and dimensionalsynthesis of linkages.
