Resumen:
Based on the importance of multivariate methods to evaluate traceability in foods, this chapter provides awareness of the increasingapplications of two and three way methodologies and their advantages in theclassification context. First, an explanation on data structure properties recordedfrom different analytical platform with multivariate detection is performed.Then, the most explored models and algorithms for fingerprinting classificationare briefly detailed, joined to relevant works applying these techniques, focusingon classification results and their potential uses.
