       We report the southernmost locality for the Patagonian opossum(Lestodelphys halli), a rare and seldom trapped Neotropical marsupial, from several cranial remains that were recovered from owl pellets at Estancia “La Primavera”, in the Province of Santa Cruz, Argentina.       Measurements of the specimens recovered are presented and compared with a large dataset finding minor differences, probably related to the small sample size.       We include a map and list of known localities of occurrence based on museum specimens and published records. Localities appear mainly concentrated in the central part of the species range, with large areas towards the north and southwest still poorly studied.
