Resumen:
The inquiry pursues to clarify what means «to be at home» from a phenomenological perspective. In order to do so I will focus on the analysis accomplished by Edmund Husserl, Martin Heidegger and Emmanuel Levinas on the topic of house. The leading idea of this investigation is that the settlement of the house involves a primary distinction between a sphere of intimacy and seclusion and the outside world. In a broad sense this phenomenological approach does not attempt to found a set of real properties that an object has to gather to be considered «a house». By contrast, it seeks to describe conceptually the experience of being at home. My exposition has been divided into three parts: (I) Background; (II) Partials Results and (III) Open Questions.
