Resumen:
The loss in productivity induced by water erosion was evaluated for different soil superficial conditions (Mounth, Intermounth), Uneroded soil, Retransporting soil and Desert pavement) into a green-house, using plants of Festuca pallescens. After four month, the plants were removed, washed and dried to 600C. Then, we evaluated total biomass, aerial biomass, root biomass and the aerial/root biomass relationship. The results showed that the total, aerial and root biomass were lower in those soils with sings of erosion, being desert pavement and intermounth the most degraded soils. In these types of soils, where the total ground was little because of limited physics and chemistry characteristics of soil, the effect was more important for root biomass than aerial biomass.
