Relativistic effects on molecular properties sensitive to nuclear size

In this seminar, I will show a theoretical model developed in our group that allows us to expand relativistic properties appearing in second-order perturbation theory in terms of nonrelativistic mechanisms and lower-order relativistic effects (depending on the fine-structure constant). I will also show how this accurate model allows us to relate, in four-component relativistic contexts, two properties that are very sensitive to the electronic structure in the nuclear environment, and how this allows us to deepen current studies of experimentally testable nuclear models using molecular spectroscopy.
