Poetry Translation Projects (UNLP). On Wind and Wood

This presentation was part of the book launching of Seymour Mayne's Wind and Wood in four languages at the University of Ottawa. I was responsible for the literary edition of this book and for the general coordination of the translation projects in which the poems were translated into Spanish, French and Portuguese. Undergrad students (UNLP) and grad students (University of Ottawa) took part of this collective translation. In this presentation, I, together with Marc Charron, who coordinated the French version, outlined the main pedagogical aspect of the translation project, which was followed by a reading in four languages.
