Resumen:
Similarly to some recent contributions (Pratt, 2010; Vanatta, 2014), in this paper, we claim that this is the case, and specifically, that Dewey?s pragmatist and constructivist logic has some theoretical as well as practical promising features which are worth recovering. In order to support this hypothesis, Dewey?s conception of logic and rationality is contrasted to a traditional conception based on the premise-conclusion relation which is fundamentally retrospective and justificatory. On the other hand, it will be argued that these theoretical models lead up to focusing on different kinds of epistemic practices and that Dewey?s conception has important practical and pedagogical advantages.
