Resumen:
Over the past decades, there has been significant academic research into female care and unpaid work. Although as Crivello & Espinoza Revollo (2018) pointed out, the field of childhood studies has significant advances in research on care developed by children, but nevertheless not produced a distinct set of care theories comparable to ´feminist care ethics´. Considering the need to investigate the multiple tasks in which children are involved, this paper aims to analyze the ways in which children participate in diverse care task and unpaid labor, highlighthing the complexities in children´s care relationships, and due attention to the way that age intersects with other salient social differences, such as gender and social class, to create vulnerability. We analize the case of Buenos Aires area, from a quantitative approach, processing and examining data from the Survey on the Argentine Social Structure (ENES) of the Research Program on Contemporary Argentine Society (PISAC) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation and Council of Deans of Faculties of Social and Human Sciences.
