Resumen:
As in other countries around the world, the Argentinian intelectual field was changing in direct relation with the comings and goings of the political historical proccess. During the last decade, and in particular since 2008, the context of cultural and social politization enabled the conditions of production of (and gave birth to) several intellectuals and collective interventions in the public space that disputed social, ideological and political senses. Groups as Carta Abierta, Club Político Argentino, and Plataforma 2012 were the main collective experiences. Combining elements of sociology of intellectuals, the new intellectual history , the theory of mediatization of the public space and the political analysis of discourse, I seek to analyze the intellectual debate during Kirchnerism, focusing at the same time, on the relationships that those group of intellectuals established with politics. The political and ideological position that they adopted and the discourses that they formed around some controversial issues, in addition to the ways they presented them, speaks not only about the political thought and the identifications that they built, but also about something more important: those intellectual debates configured one of the fields in which they fought for political signifiers.Analytically, I have structured my investigation around three big debates: First, the discussion of abstract concepts as Democracy, State, Republicanism, Populism. Second, the debate about socio-economical dimensions of Development Mode and, finally, around cultural conflicts.
