Head of the Chemistry Department at Faculty of Exact and Natural Science of UNCuyo.Academic degree:Ph.D. (Chemistry), FQByF-UNSL, Argentina (2002). B.Ch.Sc., FIQ-UNL, Argentina (2000). Additionally, five postdoctoral research stays were developed in outstanding research groups (Bazil, Germany, USA, Finland, and Belgium; 2002-2011).Research field:Extensive experience in Basic and Applied Analytical Chemistry, based on green chemistry, to address environmental issues. Currently, working on developing analytical methodologies for determination of persistent organic pollutant and emerging contaminants in environmental samples (water, sediment, fish, snails, hair, sewage, air). Multidisciplinary studies on the environment of Mendoza and the Antarctic biota.
