Resumen:
The growing need to use wild lands for economic development affects and degrades biodiversity. Over 200 years, Australian temperate forests have been extensively modified (clearing and graz-ing). Fragmented environments have been generated, reducing threatening the species inhabiting these remnant forests. Previous books have addressed the general principles of biodiversity conservation in agricultural fields. What Makes a Good Farm for Wildlife? stands out by focusing the available knowledge to describe and generate conservation sites (remnant woodlands, plantings, paddocks, rocky outcrops and waterways).
