Resumen:
The way in which scientific knowledge is built within research groups frequently seems to be taken for granted; however, tensions arise in its organizing causing disorder and disrupting the collective action. From a multiple case studies and through discourse analysis, this work seeks to understand and explain what stresses scientists? interactions and how researchers deal with it in order to achieve a convincing, meaningful and sustainable construction of scientific knowledge. It is considered of vital importance the design and implementation of public policies that promote scientific development by knowing how to recognize the potential of the scientist´s actions within research groups in order to promote them. This research contributes to the literature by further advancing the discussion on understanding the role of legitimization and scientist?s commitment.
