Resumen:
In this work I will try to answer the following issues: Is there a new direction that guides the processes of structural change in Latin America? For this I will take seriously three elements that tend to specify the first question. I understand that these could be formulated as follows: What are the trends or general structural movements that constitute the region as a region? Then, to what extent are we facing a "right turn" in the region? And finally, taking into account the arguments presented, ¿what can the future hold in Latin America?
