Resumen:
In this paper I analyze the content of children's films that are presented to the public claiming to break with traditional gender representations. Characters like Elsa and Anna (Frozen) or Merida (Brave) bring some fresh air to the big screen; their stories allow the audience to glimpse new narrative elements and values. However, Disney efforts are still not enough, as traditional gender stereotypes can be recognized in the foundations of the narrative plot.
