Resumen:
In this article, we look at the transnational circulation of self-help texts on personal life in Latin America. Specifically, we are interested in two questions: First, what forms of therapeutic discourse can be found in such self-help texts circulated, sold, and read in Latin America? Second, to what extent and how are these self-help texts produced, circulated, and consumed transnationally? Pursuing these questions, we aim to extend current debates on self-help and therapeutic culture.
