Resumen:
Colombian rural areas characterized for maintain and reproduce deeps relations of inequality, being the populations who live there (peasants, indigenous and African descent), who have historically been submitted to conditions of marginality and social exclusion. The zone in recent years has shown a reconfiguration process resulting from the expansion of agrarian capitalism, the deepening of social and political conflict, political, internal and armed the counter besides economic and neoliberal policies. These processes are anti-peasant, because it represents the ideals of modernity, a drag that limits and undermines the development. The article discusses the present of the peasantry and has had to develop strategies to ensure their persistence.
