Resumen:
This work explores aspects of the process of conformation of the slave family in the territories of current Argentina. The key aspects in the analysis which we intend to carry out will be: the choice of the spouse in the population slave (endogamie-exogamy), the differentials according to the sex, the color (blacks, mulattos) and the place of residence; conflicts rising from the violation of the principle of the voluntary marriage; reproduction out of the marriage; certain aspects of the daily life of the slaves in the domestic service; and characteristics of the family interaction. We intend to give a a report on the places of research and principal conclusions of the researchers who studied the slave family in Argentina with the possibility of making comparisons between Argentina and other areas of Latin America. Our work will be founded on documents of ecclesiastical and civil files, in particular of the parochial registers, censuses like on legal and notarial documents.
