Resumen:
The synthesis of organic compounds for the construction of composite materials is a very promising field for research. Transistors, semiconductors, organic light emitting devices (OLED?s) and organic thin films transistors (OTFT?s) are some of the devices related to the last technological advances, like electronic paper. Despite the recent advances and developments, there are still some challenges. OTFT´s, for example, often exhibit poor hole injection or charge losses at the interface. Some authors improved the hole injection by superficial modification , lowering the superficial incompatibility. Other researchers reported that the lack of efficiency of OTFT?s is related with the presence of residual hydroxyl groups on the oxide surface. They obtained good results by using polymer films for passivation of hydroxyl groups on the oxide surface , . By this means they could prevent the charge accumulation and the current leak. Based on these results, we decided to synthesize copolymers of N-arylacrylamides, and studied the behavior of a high dielectric constant oxide coated with new copolymer films, in order to build transistors in the future.
