Resumen:
Multiferroics and ferroics of composition x Ba0,8Pb0,2TiO3/(1-x)Cu0,3Ni0,1Zn0,6 Fe2O4 were prepared by the ceramic method. Powders and pellets were sintered at 1100°C for 2 h. No structural changes were observed in composite materials, therefore both phases retain their structure after sintering. The effect of compositional variation on structural, dielectric and magnetic properties was investigated and related to the attenuation properties. The increase of the ferroelectric phase changes the magnetic and dielectric behavior in the explored frequency region (from 1 MHz to 1.8 GHz). Results allow us to infer that composites with higher than 50% w/w of ferrite mass, could be considered as an attenuator material of electromagnetic energy in the explored frequency range.
