Resumen:
The aim of this dissertation is to discuss the results of the research carried out in the Moreta settlement where we have detected an extensive agricultural area built under the Inka control. A critical reading about agrarian landscapes is fundamental in order to recognize the different strategies that Inca state used to conquer the Argentine Northwest and the response of local populations towards these changes. Our main hypothesis is that the decision to build Andenes is not only due to the extraction of resources but also mainly to demonstrate the power of the Inka in the area.
