Resumen:
This poster presents the Project "Archaeology and History in the Spanish Colony of Floridablanca (Patagonia, 1780-1784)". It is focused on the social life of the little village founded as part of a plan of the Spanish Crown to protect its sovereignty on the South Atlantic Coast. The project is currently investigating multiple aspects of daily life and the material organization of the colony. Culture contact, social change, sociability, identity and power relationships are the topics mainly developed. The integration of those multiple lines of research, allow us a better understanding of the daily activities such as, eating, working and living in Floridablanca.
