Resumen:
An evaluation of the main geographic and ecological barriers of Southwestern Continental Patagonia is presented. Geological, biological, ethnographic, archaeological and historical data is revised anddiscussed in order to assess terrestrial hunter-gatherer patterns of use and circulation within the area.
