Resumen:
The phenomenon of synchronization between two or more areas of the braincoupled asymmetrically is a very relevant topic to understand the mechanismsand functions within the cerebral cortex. The anticipated synchronization(AS) refers to the situation in which the receiving system, called?slave?, synchronizes with the future dynamics of the sender system, typicallycalled ?master?. In contrast, the intuitive delayed synchronization(DS) represents exactly the opposite case, and more intuitive case.In this work we investigate and compare the magnitude of the connectionbetween the networks in the AS and DS within the context of causal informationtheory using a symbolic formalism of multiple temporal scales. Alsothis formalism allows us to determine specific dynamical features that aredifferent in this two synchronization scenarios.
