Resumen:
We present a series of results concerning the holographic string-theoretical description of hadrons [1]. Our work focuses on spin-1/2 targets, extending the ideas of Polchinski and Strassler[2]. We investigate the small-x regime where the full string theory has to be considered. It is known that the dominant contribution to the symmetric structure functions F1 and F2 isdescribed by the t-channel exchange of a Reggeized graviton. We analyze the case of the antisymmetric structure functions F3 and g1, and show that in this case the exchange of a Reggeizedgauge boson through the CS interaction dominates. We also study the exponentially small-x regime where diffusion effects become important due to the inclusion of the j ≈ 1 non-localkernel. We compute the correction to the dependence in x, which is smaller than its symmetric counterpart, and extract an integral expression for the resulting amplitude. Finally, undersome approximations we obtain an analytic expression with four parameters and perform a fit with the available data for g1 in the proton case. We find agreement at small-x (and moderateq) for the same values of the parameters associated to the F2 fit in [4].
