Resumen:
The Fe core was obtained by mechanosynthesis.The Fe cores were coated with a Fe-oxide shell produced by chemical coprecipitation procedure to provide biocompatibility and facilitate colloid stabilization with sodium citrate (NaCit).Obtained Fe/FeOx (4/3 < x < 3/2) nanoparticles have a mean size of 11-12 nm, specific saturation magnetization of more than 130 emu/gFe and Z-potential of about -40 mV.The excellent stability and magnetic response of this system makes it an ideal candidate for applications in theranostics and environment remediation.
