Resumen:
Several compositons of Mg-TiH2 nanodispersionswere prepared by mechanical synthesis under relative low hydrogen atmospherepressure. Different milling routes were performed. Hydrogen sorption kineticsof samples with 20at% Ti were prepared starting from mixtures of Mg and Ti or TiH2with different amounts of graphite, and afterwards submitted to several thermaltreatments. A volumetric Sieverts apparatus wasused to subject the samples to many cycles of hydrogen uptake and release underdifferent pressure and temperature conditions, between 240C to 300C andpressures between 3bar and 10 bar. Desorption was also studied using DifferentialScanning Calorimetry under hydrogen atmosphere. Characterization was performed bymeans of SEM microscopy and X-Ray diffraction.
