Resumen:
We present a measurement of the cosmic ray energy spectrum from 3x10^17 eV to 2.5x10^19 eV based on data obtained with the 750m surface detector array of the Pierre Auger Observatory. We address the steps required to measure the energy spectrum, from the reconstruction of events, through the precise determination of the exposure of the array, up to the determination of the cosmic ray energy. In the final paper, the spectrum will bediscussed and compared to those measured by other instruments in the overlapping energy region.
