Resumen:
The average muon content of air showers with zenith angles exceeding 62 is obtained as a functionof calorimetric energy from events measured simultaneously with the Surface Detector Array and fluorescencetelescopes of the Pierre Auger Observatory using a reconstruction method specifically designed for inclinedshowers. The results are presented in different energy bins above 41018 eV and compared to predictions fromcurrent hadronic interaction models for different primary particles.
