Resumen:
Single domain magnetic nanoparticles suspended in a fluid self organized in different structures due to the competition between attractive interactions i.e dipolar and van der Waals, and repulsive steric and electric interaction. In field experiment could provide new insight on the interactions which drive clustering.  The application of a magnetic field induced anisotropy in this magnetic colloidal dispersion. Anisotropic clusters with preferred orientation parallel to the field are formed. We present an evaluation of possible permanent magnets configuration and the resulting magnetic field on the sample area, as a modification of the already in used sample holder for liquid samples. Field homogeneity in the region of interest will be discussed as well as materials to build the sample holder. The proposed configurations may allow measurements with applied fields in directions parallel and perpendicular to beam direction with intensities from 0 to 0.7 T.
