Resumen:
We studied impenetrable bosons in a one-dimensional quasi-periodic lattice at finite temperature. A quasi-periodic potential has characteristics in common with both periodic and totally random potentials. At zero temperature, wavefunction localization occurs for a finite critical value of the secondary lattice amplitude whereas for totally random potentials this critical value is zero. Through the analysis of quantities related to the one particle correlations we visualize the interplay between thermal effects and disorder in this strong interacting system. We found evidence suggesting the existence of finite temperature crossovers related to the zero temperature superfluid-to-bose-glass transition.
