Resumen:
The distribution of the atmospheric levels of Pb in Cordoba province (Argentina) was assessed employing the biomonitor Tillandsia capillaris. The sampling area (50.000 km2) was divided into grids of 25 x 25 km and plants were collected at 80 sites for three consecutive years. Lead concentration in leaves of T. capillaris was analyzed by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry and its spatial distribution was represented on a maps. The distribution pattern of atmospheric lead shows higher levels in the north of study area (at north of the Córdoba city) which can be related to sportive hunting activities that are intensive at this area.
