In this paper we describe locative verbs in Western Toba as formal class according to person inflection and causativization. In addition, the distribution of topological information within the clause is analyzed with special focus on the verb itself and the position and scope of spatial lexemes. The analysis is based on elicitation sessions with the stimulus "Topological Relations Picture Series" (TRPS) (Bowerman & Pederson 1992) and narrative texts recorded at Vaca Perdida (Bermejo Department, Formosa Province, Argentina).
