My research focusses on the morphosyntax, semantics and pragmatics of the Western Toba language (Guaicuruan, Formosa province, Northeastern Argentina). Currently, I am studying the grammar of space in this language. Besides, I participate in research projects on Language Policies in Northeastern Argentina (Región NEA y políticas públicas (P-UE, CONICET), and Ideologías lingüísticas en las políticas públicas referidas a lenguas indígenas de la región NEA (PI16S002-SGCyT-UNNE)), and argument indexing and transitivity in Guaicuruan languages (Análisis tipológico-funcional de la indexación verbal y la transitividad en lenguas de la familia guaycurú (PI17S001-SGCyT-UNNE)). My work contributes to increase the knowledge in terms of linguistic documentation of the South American Gran Chaco region and has a great potential for cross-linguistic comparisons.
