Tiempo como esperanza. Una meditación hermenéutica acerca del sentido religioso del tiempo

Resumen El artículo consiste en una meditación hermenéutica acerca del sentido religioso del tiempo. En primer lugar afirma la tijera del tiempo, es decir, imposibilidad de reducir tiempo cósmico a temporalidad y viceversa. En segundo lugar analiza la dirección, relacionalidad y generatividad como rasgos esenciales del tiempo cósmico. En tercer lugar muestra como estos rasgos se reflejan en el instante como consumación de la temporalidad vivida. Finalmente determina en qué medida ellos invitan a la esperanza y mueven a la interpretación a afirmar un sentido religioso del tiempo en su conjunto. Palabras clave Tiempo, temporalidad, cosmos, conciencia, esperanza. Abstract The article contains a hermeneutic meditation on the religious meaning of time. First, it asserts the scissors-character of time, i.e., the impossibility of reducing cosmic time to temporality, and vice versa. Second, it analyzes direction, relationality, and generativity as the essential features of cosmic time. Third, it shows how these features are reflected in the instant as the consummation of lived temporality. Finally, the article attempts to discern the extent in which these features make up an invitation to hope and induce an interpretation that upholds a religious meaning for time as a whole.  Key-words: Time, temporality, cosmos, consciousness, h
