Resumen:
Nematode larvae of genus Brevimulticaecum Mozgovoi, in Skrjabin, Shikhobalova and Mozgovoi, 1951 are reported for the first time in three species of amphibians from northern Argentina, Lepidobatrachus laevis Budgget from Formosa province and Physalaemus albonotatus Steindachner and Pseudis paradoxa Linnaeus from Corrientes province. Specimens were found encapsulated in mesentery, abdominal cavity, serous of stomach and intestine of hosts. The larvae exhibited the main characteristics of the genus Brevimulticaecum, such as short ventricular appendices and the position of excretory pore and excretory nucleus. This larva is described and illustrated.
