Resumen:
This paper describes morphosyntactic and semantics features of the constructions used in Western Toba, a Guaicuruan language spoken in Argentina to answer where is X questions. The morphosyntax of locative verbs, especially person inflection and causativization strategies are described. In addition, the distribution of topological information within the clause is analyzed with special focus on the verb itself and the position and scope of spatial lexemes. The analysis is based on elicitation sessions with the stimulus "Topological Relations Picture Series" (Bowerman & Pederson 1992) and recording of narrative texts in Vaca Perdida (Bermejo Department, Formosa Province, Argentina).
