Resumen:
Aliphatic polyesters have been used in a large number of applications such as agricultural, textile and biomedical, among others. These materials are used because they have chemical versatility and easily processability, which are the main characteristics that make them more competitive than natural polymers. Poly (ε-caprolactone) (PCL) has been used in biomedical applications, particularly because it has been proved its efficiency to produce artificial extracellular matrices, capable for repairing or regeneration of body tissues. In this work, PCL polymers were obtained by anionic polymerization techniques .Maleic anhydride (MA) was studied as a chain-end modifying agent. Then, PCL scaffolds were fabricated by employing solvent casting/particle leaching technique, using sodium chloride (NaCl). The morphology, degradation, and biocompatibility behavior of the scaffolds obtained were investigated
